So much truth in this share. I was on the sidelines watching, listening and talking through the past 10 years w/you. At times this broke my heart seeing the pain & frustration you endured. As a mother sometimes all we can do is wait until The Epiphany is at hand. Clearly you have sorted this out wholeheartedly, and now you are in a place where your helping people walk in your shoes . What a blessing those 10 years turned into be!! If we know God’s plan we would blow it for sure. You followed your heart eventually, which is one of the many gifts from God. Love being the greatest ❤️🙏🏻🤍

I didn’t know about this bit! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼 If you recall, in the allegory, the man that broke free returned determined to save the people he cares for but they think he’s gone mad and become angry with him and wish harm upon him.
Exactly! It reminds me of the Buddhist concept of the bodhisattva, a person who achieves nirvana but returns to help others find the way. Plato nailed the fact that people still in the cave of ignorance will often try to pull those who leave back. It happens on an individual and collective level. Glad you enjoyed the newsletter!
Or even the Hero's Journey. Once he has the Elixir, he brings it back to The Ordinary World! There are a few extra tests on the way back, just to be sure he is ready. Ugh. The gift that keeps on giving. :)
