Happy Monday š
Iām going to list and define 6 frameworks for happiness š
Mindfulness
Positive psychology
The hedonic treadmill
The gratitude perspective
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
Incorporating these strategies into your daily life can increase your overall happiness and well-being.
It's important to remember that happiness is not a constant state, and it's normal to experience ups and downs.
However, by focusing on the positive and cultivating happiness-promoting habits, you can increase your overall well-being and satisfaction with life.
For those of you who are new here. My Nadeem, Iām a business consultant & brand strategist, and I believe happiness is a skill, and skills can be developed.
Seeing you win is my greatest joy.
I will teach you the exact frameworks and help you develop the skills that will allow you to turn inner conflict into inner peace.
This is a passionate subject because I suffered from so much inner conflict living in a toxic environment, specifically in my work life.
That toxicity carried over into my home life and affected me in more ways than oneā¦
It affected my income, relationships, and friendships. I gained weight, lost muscle, smoked a lot of pot to suppress the pain, and stayed up late binge-watching Netflix.
9 months later, after leaving that toxic environment, Iāve increased my income, moved to another state, scaled a business above 7-figures (@somaticrelease) thatās saving thousands of peopleās lives globally, and started Build 1 Thing, an online community for modern-day digital creators looking to build & scale their brand or business online.
All that to say, I did it, Iāve helped others do it, and I can help you do it too. And it all begins with turning inner conflict into peace.
So letās break down these frameworks. I put them into a table format for all you visual learners!
6 Ways to Practice Happiness NOW
Practice gratitude: Take time to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life. You can write them down in a gratitude journal, share them with a friend, or take a moment to appreciate them in your mind.
Engage in positive activities: Find activities that bring you joy and meaning, and make time for them in your life. This could be hobbies, sports, volunteering, or anything else that brings you a sense of satisfaction and purpose.
Cultivate positive relationships: Spend time with people who are supportive and uplifting. Nurture your relationships by being a good listener, showing kindness and appreciation, and being there for others when they need it.
Develop strengths and virtues: Identify your unique strengths and virtues, and look for opportunities to use them daily. This could be at work, in your relationships, or your personal pursuits.
Practice mindfulness: Pay attention to the present moment with an open, non-judgmental attitude. This can help you be more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings and increase your sense of connection and appreciation for the present moment.
Final Thoughts
Overthinking is a common trap we all fall into.Ā
You overthink things that you shouldnāt, and this overthinking create limiting beliefs.Ā
These limited beliefs then prevent you from becoming your best version.Ā
If you want to achieve something great, you need to believe that you can achieve it.Ā
And the only way to believe something like that is to take action and not overthink it.Ā
Overthinking will only lead you down a path of self-doubt and insecurity.Ā
So instead, let go of overthinking and cultivate a mindset of possibilities.Ā
When you do this, youāll be amazed at what you can achieve.
When you're ready, Here are some ways I can help you:
āĀ Build 1 Thing Community - Live content coaching, Live Mindset coaching, & live Sales coaching every week + tons of free resources and a new āhow to scale your business onlineā template per month.
ā The SON Candle - Inspired by faith, to strengthen your prayer & meditation practice. For yourself, or gift it to a loved one. 3% of profits go to the Single Parents Project.
I so agree with you on all of this!
I was such an over-thinker, and making a choice to catch myself and get into action by taking the next best step has saved me a so much angst, because thatās what sitting in that mode causes. Nothing good comes from it.
To cultivating a mindset of positivity and so much more!
